Le parfum doux des fraises

Il n’y a rien qui sent aussi bien que des fraises qui se reposent durant la nuit, avant d’y faire de la confiture. J'avais vu une recette qui m’avait rendu curieux au sujet du goût. C’était quelque chose totalement nouveau à moi. Du ‘ freezer jam‘ ou ‘ de la confiture de congélateur ` j’y avais jamais entendu jusqu'à ce que je l'aie vu chez Posie gets cozy.

Plus tard ce jour au supermarché, QU’EST-CE QUE JE VOIE ? Oui, du sucre de pectine pour usage à froid. Alors je l’ai acheté et essayé à la maison. Ecraser les fraises et ajouter le sucre, remuer pendant 45 secondes! Vite fait, bien fait ! Je l'ai goûté et c’était délicieux. Maintenant il faut attendre comment ça sortira du congélateur. Mais je crois que ça sera miam miam…

Après, avec le reste des fraises j'ai aussi essayé la confiture de fraises à la menthe. J'espère que ça sera suffisant pour l'hiver prochain parce’ que la dernière fois les bocaux n'ont pas resté longtemps dans l'armoire.

The sweet scent of strawberries

Nothing smells so sweet as strawberries resting overnight before making jam.

I saw a recipe that made me curious about the taste. It was something totally new to me. ‘ Freezer jam ‘ never heard of it until I saw it at Posie gets cozy.

Later that day I went to the supermarket and WHAT DID I SEE? Yep, pectin sugar for cold use. So I bought some and tried it at home.

Mash the strawberries and add the sugar, stirr for 45 seconds and done! I tasted it and it was delicious. Now just wait and see how it comes out of the freezer.

Later, with the remainder of the strawberries I also tested the jam of strawberries with mint. I hope that it will be enough for next winter because the last time the jars didn’t stay in the cupboard for long.
